What software will we use during the course?
Most of the course methodology is based on: Substance Painter (for creating the Color Base), 3DCoat, Photoshop (for painting on the 3D model). From our industry experience this is the most effective pipeline for the top level handpaint. BUT you can use Blender or Substance Painter instead of 3DCoat and Photoshop. We provide additional lessons about handpaint texturing for each of the software.
Will I be able to earn money after the course?
Yes, you'll be able to take simple freelance tasks after the course. You'll also receive a foundation for further development and creation of more complex textures. If you're an experienced artist, you'll push the rate and the quality of your work.
What's the format of the course?
Basic Plan: Watch the lessons at a comfortable pace and complete homework yourself. Standard Plan: Watch the lessons at a comfortable pace with weekly overpaint feedbacks from professional N-hance Studio Texture Artists (up to 5 months). Can I use Blender or Substance for texturing?
Yes, we provide handpaint lessons for Blender and Substance Painter, it could be an alternative for 3DCoat. 90% of the course will have Substance - 3DCoat - Photoshop pipeline, but art principles are the same and you can still implement them.
